Multi-Sectoral Programme on Violence Against Women
A National Action Plan to Prevent Violence Against Women and Children (2013 – 2025) has been formulated. National Centre on Gender Based Violence will help to implement the action plan through the Action Plan Support Unit (APSU). Major Activities of the National Centre on Gender Based Violence are: Arranging workshop, seminar and consultation meeting for sensitization of the professionals and stakeholders. Providing management supports for implementing the national action plan. Taking necessary steps and initiatives for preventing violence against women and children. Mobilizing the efforts and initiatives to different organizations at national, regional and international level for preventing violence against women and children. Coordinating of activities and developing policy on violence against women and children of different ministries, divisions and organizations.
